I read this one pretty quickly. The characters were interesting, and the writing style was well-done for a cast of teenagers. It was funny in spots, more serious in others. As someone who is not religious, I was wondering if the main character would develop a sudden deep belief that would change the tone of the storyline, but was thankful when that did not happen.

I thought the story stayed fairly surface level when there were definitely opportunities to dive deeper into some of the characters, which was a bit disappointing, but it was a good YA book that I think adults could also enjoy.

I recommend it if you are looking for a quick, easy end of year read.
