Eve has a one night stand and ends up pregnant. She is scared to tell anyone, especially her best friend Willa, who has been struggling to have a baby of her own with her husband.

Eve feels unsatisfied with her career path, her past relationships, and now has to figure out how she feels about impending motherhood, too. Enter Willa’s older brother, and Eve’s long-time friend, Shep to help her find her way. Baby daddy (Ethan) is in and out of the picture, trying to figure out if and how he fits in to all of this.

And…. that’s pretty much the entire story. 

The book was fine. Some of the phrasing the main character used here and there throughout the book made me wince. I knew how it would end within the first 10 pages. It’s a quick read, and there’s nothing glaringly wrong with the book, but I found it to be a pretty forgettable story overall.
