Book three of the 6:20 man series is a worthy follow up to the two that came before it. Travis Devine has been sent out to guard a 12 year old girl whose parents died, and whose uncle is looking to gain custody of her. He isn’t sure why his services are needed, and his boss doesn’t have much information about what is going on either. Getting out of town after his close encounter with the girl on the train from his last assignment sounds like a good idea, so he heads to Washington state to oversee Betsy Odom’s visit with her uncle.

As it turns out, nothing is ever as simple as it seems, and Travis soon finds himself embroiled in a murder case, while fighting to stay alive himself. The local FBI and Seattle police are also involved, but he isn’t sure who he can actually trust. He needs to figure it out fast before he and Betsy’s lives are both put in more danger.

To Die For is fast-paced, incredibly well-written, and the characters jump off the page. The twists and turns of the story come at the reader fast and furiously and are sure to keep you entertained all the way to the satisfying conclusion.

Thank you to David Baldacci, Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
