I’d give Nash Falls 3 out of 5 stars. The premise grabbed my attention right away. A successful businessman is forced to work with the FBI and then pushed into a life he never imagined. Nash is a likable main character: intelligent, determined, and devoted to his family. It was interesting to watch him struggle with the impossible situation he found himself in.
That said, the story felt uneven at times. Some sections moved quickly and kept me turning pages, while others dragged with more detail than necessary. The twists were entertaining, but a few felt a little far-fetched, making it harder to stay fully invested. I also would have liked more depth from some of the supporting characters, especially the villains.
Overall, Nash Falls is a decent thriller with an intriguing setup and a sympathetic protagonist, but it didn’t quite live up to its potential. Fans of David Baldacci will likely find enough to enjoy, even if it’s not one of his strongest novels.
Thank you to David Baldacci, Grand Central Publishing, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
